El objetivo del estudio fue describir las características de los síntomas de angina en un grupo de mujeres hospitalizadas en la clínica Universitaria San Juan de Dios de Cartagena en el marco de la Teoría de los Síntomas Desagradables de Elizabeth Lenz y Cols. Es un estudio de tipo descriptivo exploratorio con abordaje cualitativo. La información cualitativa recolectada se obtuvo de las informantes durante la entrevista semiestructurada que utiliza una guía basada en la Teoría de los Síntomas Desagradables, posteriormente se analizó mediante el análisis de contenido. Los resultados del estudio muestra un grupo de mujeres con un perfil donde priorizan a los demás, se sobrecargan de tareas y satisfacen las necesidades del otro, empiezan a notar que su cuerpo se vive por el estado de la enfermedad por causa del ahogo, la opresión y el mismo sufrimiento, un cuerpo externalizado que se vive para otro, si se permite tomar conciencia en el espacio vivido que antes era libre, ya su cuerpo restringido perdiendo control, hace de esta experiencia que se cuide, se mire a sí misma y restaure las relaciones vividas, sin embargo, existe la certeza de poder volver a su posición, para lo cual deben cambiar su forma de vida. Implica que hay otra oportunidad y puede constituir una fortaleza que dé seguridad en la fase más aguda del proceso, donde aún hay miedo a lo porvenir.Summary
Abstract. The aim of this study was to describe the symptoms of angina in a group of women framework of the Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms Elizabeth Lenz and colleagues. It is an exploratory descriptive study with qualitative approach. Qualitative information collected was obtained from informants during semi-structured interviews using a guide based on the Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms subsequently analyzed by content analysis. The results of the study shows a group of women with a profile where priority to others, was overloaded with tasks and meet the needs of others, begin to notice that your body is experienced by the state of the disease because of suffocation, oppression and the same suffering, a body that exists outsourced to another, if it raises awareness in the space formerly lived free, and your body restricted losing control, makes the experience to be careful, you look at itself and restore relations lived, however, is certain to return to their position, for which they must change their way of life. It implies that there is another opportunity and can be a strength to provide security in the most acute phase of the process, where there is still fear of the future.Keywords
