Summary
In this paper we present the effect of the relative humidity (RH) on the ternary system weight variation: Purified Water – Propylene glycol USP – Syrup, in controlled environments at RH of 51.8% and 86.4% at 17.9°C, established in closed chambers and in an open room chamber. We found a higher evaporation rate when the mixtures were placed at RH of 51.8% in closed chamber. The weight was higher at RH of 86.4%, this behavior increases as a higher Propylene glycol proportion is used in the mixture.Collections
