Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. It produces flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, dyspnea, myalgia and in severe cases it is characterized by pneumonia, respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis or septic shock that leads patients to the Care Unit Intensive (ICU) or death. Patients who manage to survive the last instances of this new disease and are discharged from ICUs are left with sequelae in various systems of the human body, which limits their return to activities of daily living. Objective: To determine the relationship between the physical condition and functionality of post-intubation Covid-19 patients with the length of stay in the ICU and the stage of the disease. Methodology: Cross-sectional, correlational cohort study where the variables Aerobic endurance (6-minute walk test), Muscle endurance (Medical research council MRC), Flexibility (Sit-and-reach test), Functionality (WHODAS 2.0) and Number were analyzed. days hospitalized in the ICU, in 50 post-Covid-19 patients after one month of being discharged from the ICU. For the analysis of variables and statistical significance of the results, the SPSS Statistics 22.0 program was used. The research protocol is registered in Clinical Trials with the identification number 013-16, it also has the endorsement of the Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Colombia (Record No. 013-116 of July 08 2021) Results and Conclusions: There was a positive relationship between the days of stay in the ICU and the stage of the disease with the functionality (p = <0.001). Patients with a longer stay in the ICU and more complex critical conditions, reported greater deterioration in their functionality. Keywords
