Implementación de un programa de intervención cognoscitivo-conductual en el afrontamiento de la crisis generada por el diagnóstico y el tratamiento médico del cáncer

Abstract

El objetivo de la presente investigación fue implementar un programa de intervención cognoscitivo conductual en el afrontamiento de la crisis generada por el diagnóstico y el tratamiento médico en pacientes de la Unidad de Oncología de la E.S.E. HURGV de Bucaramanga. El diseño fue cuasiexperimental y se contó con una muestra de 50 sujetos: 25 en el grupo experimental y 25 en el grupo control. La variable dependiente fue el afrontamiento, categorizado como crisis, ansiedad y depresión. Los instrumentos utilizados fueron: STAI Estado, IDB y CASIC. Los resultados finales indican que ambas muestras presentan cambios adaptativos. This research has as objective the application of the behavioral cognitive intervention program in the coping of the crisis generated by the diagnosis and medical treatment in patients of oncology unit of the state social Enterprise Hospital Universitario Ramón González Valencia of Bucaramanga.
