Abstract

This article explores the Region and the territory, under the influence of the theory and the history of the actual physical planning, from the modern dialectic between land and urban spaces. This relation, generates deep questions for urban regions. In those terms, the author explores the question about the city-region model, that in a preliminary, stage could be included in the “Agrópolis” concept

El presente artículo explora, en términos teóricos e históricos, los principios del actual planeamiento físico, a la luz de la dialéctica entre campo y ciudad. La complejización de esta relación, ha generado un profundo cuestionamiento para las actuales regiones urbanas, lo que para el autor encierra la búsqueda de un modelo ciudad-región que, a priori, podría estar contenido en la noción de “Agrópolis”.
