dc.description.abstractThe investigation studied the process of industrial expansion of Bogota towards the west during the first half of the XX century. In this text the existing city-planning relation between industrial implantation and urban growth is analyzed, studying the contributions or the deficiencies of the discipline of urbanism to explain and to guide the phenomenon in the city of Bogota.
dc.description.abstractLa investigación estudió el proceso de expansión industrial de Bogotá hacia el Occidente durante la primera mitad del siglo XX. En este texto se analiza la relación urbanística existente entre implantación industrial y crecimiento urbano, estudiando los aportes o las carencias de la disciplina del urbanismo para explicar y guiar el fenómeno en la ciudad de Bogotá.
