La diversidad étnica como variable en la intervención del trabajo social

Abstract

Este artículo analiza las diferentes perspectivas teóricas que, desde el Trabajo Social, han surgido en torno a la intervención con grupos étnicos, y de manera particular con los grupos étnicos-raciales negro, afrocolombiano, palenquero y raizal. Las diferentes reflexiones se estudian a la luz de la modernidad y del concepto de etnicidad en cuanto variable que resalta las contradicciones del proyecto cultural moderno

The article analyzes the different theoretical perspectives that have arisen in the context of Social Work in order to carry out interventions with respect to ethnic groups, especially the black, Afro-Colombian, palenquero, and raizal ethnic-racial groups. The different reflections are analyzed in the light of modernity and of the concept of ethnicity as a variable that highlights the contradictions of the modern cultural project
