Die Vorkommen der Gattung Lenticeras GERHARDT in Kolumbien und der Arten L. baltai und L. andii, lassen die balti-Zone (Santon) erkennen.

The finding of GERHARDT'S genus Lenticeras, and of the species L. baltai and L. andii permits the recognition of the baltai Zone, here assumed to he Santonian.

La presencia del género Lenticeras GERHARDT y de las especies L. baltai LISSON y L. andii sensu GERHARDT (non GABB), permite reconocer la zona ** de L. baltai que se asigna aquí al Santoniano. / Abstract.
