Abstract

The Colombian agricultural sector faces the challenge of modernizing production systems to produce goods and services that will enable the sector to compete successfully in domestic and international markets. In this context, the government has to promote the planning and development of technology transfer and research for a Sistema Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología that is efficient and meets the needs of the productive sector.
