El diboruro de magnesio y sus propiedades principales.

Abstract

Este trabajo revisa y presenta de manera concisa y explicativa algunas de las principales propiedades de la superconductividad en el diboruro de magnesio, MgB2. Entre estas propiedades se presentan las de transporte, algunas mecánicas y su estructura de bandas, relacionándolas con la estructura cristalina del material.

In this paper we review, in a concise and elucidating way, some of the main properties of the superconductivity in the magnesium diboride, MgB2. One disccuss the transport and some mechanical properties as well as the band structure and relate them to the crystal structure of the material.
