Esto evidencia la relación indisociable entre la movilidad y el territorio, lo cual no se vería perder de vista al momento de diseñar, planear y operar las infraestructuras y sistemas de transporte. dc.description.abstractThis paper analyzes the behavior of passenger demand at El Dorado airport (Bogotá, Colombia), to identify the variables used in air transport planning and analyze other aspects that will be considered in the demand estimate, in order to raise the discussion on the need to take into account territorial aspects and the urban-regional environment of airports, both to analyze the demand, and to incorporate variables of the aviation network, the functional physical relationship of the airport with the city or urban areas to which, and the network of cities that brings airport passengers. According to the characterization of the identified variables, this research proposes two approaches to estimate the demand for El Dorado, the first, a traditional model of simple linear regression, the second, a combined model (linear and gravitational regression), which incorporate variables macroeconomic data on a regional scale (GDP per departmental capita) of the network of cities that supported the operation of the airport. For the case study of the El Dorado airport, it is broken by means of two different methods, that the data that best explains the demand for domestic passengers are of a regional nature, a conclusion reached thanks to the analysis of the transport networks and the territorial dynamics. This shows the inseparable relationship between mobility and territory, which should not be lost sight of when designing, planning and operating infrastructures and transport systems.
