dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación se centró en la caracterización de las estrategias de aceleración utilizadas por startups (tamaño Mipyme) bogotanas del sector de servicios que han atravesado procesos de aceleración, parte del contexto actual del emprendimiento en Bogotá, destacando la importancia de las startups en el desarrollo económico, empresarial y desafíos que enfrentan, tales como: tasas de mortalidad empresarial y dificultades en el acceso a financiamiento y asesoramiento. A través de una revisión de literatura, se identificaron perspectivas teóricas y prácticas sobre startups, emprendimiento, innovación y estrategia empresarial, haciendo hincapié en la falta de estudios previos que aborden específicamente las estrategias de aceleración en Mipymes-startups del sector servicios. Metodológicamente, se adoptó un enfoque cualitativo con diseño descriptivo transversal, siguiendo la metodología propuesta por Quivy y Campenhoudt (1992). Se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad con expertos en aceleración, fundadores y gerentes de startups, un análisis detallado de datos, centrado en identificar las características organizacionales, los procesos de aceleración y los mecanismos estratégicos que impulsan el crecimiento y la supervivencia de las startups. El análisis de datos permitió identificar factores claves en la aceleración, se destacan: estrategias de financiación, incorporación de tecnologías innovadoras, adaptabilidad al cambio por parte de los lideres, e importancia de redes de apoyo dentro del ecosistema. Se evidencia la necesidad de un enfoque personalizado en las estrategias de aceleración, ya que las características y necesidades de cada empresa emergente varían según su etapa de desarrollo, sector y experiencia (texto tomado de la fuente). |
dc.description.abstract | The current research focuses on the characterization of acceleration strategies employed by Bogotá-based startups (Mipyme size) in the service sector that have undergone acceleration processes. It situates itself within the current context of entrepreneurship in Bogotá, emphasizing the significance of startups in economic development and the business landscape, as well as the challenges they encounter, such as high business mortality rates and difficulties in accessing financing and advisory services. Through a comprehensive literature review, this research identifies both theoretical and practical perspectives on startups, entrepreneurship, innovation, and business strategy, while underscoring the lack of prior studies specifically addressing acceleration strategies within Mipyme startups in the service sector. Methodologically, a qualitative approach with a cross-sectional descriptive design was adopted, following the methodology proposed by Quivy and Campenhoudt (1992). In-depth interviews were conducted with acceleration experts, founders, and managers of startups, complemented by a detailed analysis of data aimed at identifying organizational characteristics, acceleration processes, and strategic mechanisms that facilitate the growth and sustainability of startups. The data analysis revealed key factors influencing acceleration, notably: financing strategies, the integration of innovative technologies, leaders' adaptability to change, and the importance of support networks within the ecosystem. This study highlights the necessity for a tailored approach to acceleration strategies, as the characteristics and needs of each emerging enterprise vary according to its stage of development, sector, and experience (texto tomado de la fuente). |
