dc.description.abstractNon-parametric DEA models are a solution for the measurement of relative efficiency which allow to establish an efficient frontier to envelop the units evaluated, from inputs and outputs clearly defined through advanced linear programming. Their mathematical solution seek in general terms to maximize the outputs from the same inputs or maintain the outputs by decreasing the inputs for each weighted unit that is being analyzed. The intention of this work is to deepen and investigate the practical application of the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) efficiency and productivity indicators through a model that facilitate the measurement of the relative efficiency in the management of IT projects of the financial sector companies. The foregoing due to the absence of robust and comprehensive indicators in the management of IT projects, which creates weaknesses in administration, regulatory compliance and hinders the strategic and operational timely decision making (case applied to Banco Colpatria in the IT Department).spa
dc.description.abstractLos modelos no paramétricos DEA son una solución para la medición de la eficiencia relativa que permiten establecer una frontera eficiente para envolver las unidades evaluadas, a partir de entradas y salidas claramente definidas por medio de programación lineal avanzada. Su solución matemática busca en términos generales maximizar las salidas a partir de las mismas entradas o mantener las salidas disminuyendo las entradas para cada unidad ponderada que está siendo analizada. La intención de este trabajo es profundizar e investigar acerca de la aplicación práctica de los indicadores de eficiencia y productividad DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) a través de un modelo que facilite la medición de la eficiencia relativa en la gestión de proyectos informáticos de empresas del sector financiero. Lo anterior por ausencia de indicadores robustos e integrales en la gestión de proyectos informáticos, lo cual genera debilidades de administración, cumplimiento normativo y dificulta la toma oportuna de decisiones estratégicas y operativas (caso aplicado al Banco Colpatria en la Vicepresidencia de Tecnología).spa
