Adoratorio

Abstract

Esta investigación-creación analiza cómo las plataformas digitales y sus algoritmos moldearon la representación del mundo durante el confinamiento por COVID-19, creando "cámaras de eco algorítmicas" que fragmentaron la realidad en "micromitos" o narrativas conspirativas personalizadas. A partir de un archivo de miles de capturas de pantalla, el estudio explora cómo estas dinámicas profundizaron la alienación y formaron "multitudes solitarias". Como respuesta crítica, se propone el "Adoratorio", una instalación artística que funciona como una máquina transmoderna. Esta obra busca activar una "sensibilidad sintética" en el espectador, permitiéndole cuestionar las imágenes que consume a través de un ejercicio perceptivo guiado por una "diagonal poética". El Adoratorio opera en cuatro tiempos (Primavera, Verano, Otoño, Invierno), deconstruyendo progresivamente la ilusión de una realidad única y estable ofrecida por los algoritmos, para revelar su naturaleza construida y fracturada. This research-creation project examines how digital platforms and their algorithms shaped the representation of the world during the COVID-19 lockdown, creating "algorithmic echo chambers" that fragmented reality into personalized conspiracy narratives or "micro-myths." Based on an archive of thousands of screenshots, the study explores how these dynamics deepened alienation and formed "lonely crowds." As a critical response, the "Adoratorio" is proposed—an artistic installation that functions as a transmodern machine. This work aims to activate a "sensibilidad sintética" in the viewer, allowing them to question the images they consume through a perceptual exercise guided by a "diagonal poiética." The Adoratorio operates in four movements (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter), progressively deconstructing the illusion of a single, stable reality offered by algorithms to reveal its constructed and fractured nature. The thesis is framed by the theories of Guy Debord, Byung-Chul Han, and Enrique Dussel, positioning itself as a device of poetic and political resistance against digital homogenization and the commodification of perception.
