Se determinó la accesibilidad media global actual y futura (curvas isócronas) en la Región Caribe, cuya diferencia (curvas gradientes) representan los porcentajes de ahorro, los cuales se cruzaron con variables demográficas y económicas. Se determinó que los ahorros obtenidos tienen un valor máximo del 2.6% y el departamento más beneficiado es el Atlántico, donde sus 23 municipios obtuvieron ahorros en tiempos medios de viaje entre 1% y 2.29%. Basado en los resultados del estudio, se concluyó que solo el 4.18% de la población de la zona de análisis, que produce el 0.89% del PIB y ocupa el 0.48% del área de la región, obtienen ahorros mayores al 2% en términos de tiempos medios de viajeIn this work were obtained the impact in terms of savings on travel times, that generates construction through public-private partnership APP 4th Generation of the dual carriageway Cartagena - Barranquilla and beltway prosperity in the city of Barranquilla is determined.
