Algunos de estos a color.Este trabajo busca establecer el panorama actual de la vitalidad de la lengua yagua en el sur del Trapecio Amazónico colombiano, haciendo un estudio de caso de la comunidad Yagua de La Libertad, debido a los escasos datos lingüísticos, etnográficos y sociolingüísticos existentes y su nimia actualización; y al desequilibrio ecolingüístico que sufre esta comunidad en Colombia. De esta forma, se requiere examinar el uso de la lengua yagua y la forma en que esta opera en las dimensiones espacial, temporal y contextual, es decir, sus situaciones de uso. Además, indagar las actitudes lingüísticas de los hablantes de esta lengua en las constantes y dinámicas relaciones con los hablantes de otras lenguas nativas y el español. Se usan herramientas teóricas y metodológicas de la ecología lingüística, la sociolingüística y la etnografía del habla. Por ello se realizó un trabajo de campo en el que se hizo observación etnográfica y se aplicaron encuestas y entrevistas abiertas y semiestructuradas, propiciando la participación de la comunidad en la recopilación y el registro de la información sobre la vitalidad de su lengua.This work seeks to establish the current situation of the vitality of the Yagua language in the south of the Colombian Amazon Trapezoid by making a case study of the Yagua community of La Libertad, due to the scarce existing linguistic data, the insufficient updating of ethnographic and sociolinguistics data, and the ecolinguistic imbalance suffered by this community in Colombia. In this way, it is necessary to examine the use of the yagua language and the way it operates in the spatial, temporal and contextual dimensions, that is, its situations of use. In addition, to research the linguistic attitudes of the speakers of this language in the constant and dynamic relationships with the speakers of other native languages and Spanish. Theoretical and methodological tools from linguistic ecology, sociolinguistics and ethnography of speech are used.
