En esta investigación se abordarán las ordenes impartidas por la Corte IDH a la República de Colombia, con el objeto de determinar su grado de cumplimiento, para proponer soluciones que permitan la ejecución de aquellas que hasta el momento no se han cumplido. Colombia, processed before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, marked a paradigm shift and a change in the understanding of the disciplinary process initiated by the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation against public officials elected by popular vote. This compelled Colombia to amend its internal regulations to attempt to comply with the orders issued by the international tribunal.
