Como arquitecto y artista, para mí “la casa” es el espacio que la sensibilidad común reconoce como el lugar más íntimo. Aquel donde se gestan las nociones de cuidado, protección y abrigo. De esta manera, he realizado diferentes prácticas, ensayos y experimentaciones sobre los elementos que configuran la casa. Desde el mobiliario, hasta los materiales de construcción como los ladrillos. Como fruto de estos procesos creativos, ha surgido un interés por crear una casa en ruinas, o una ruina hecha casa. Un lugar en el que a partir de ejercicios instalativos, se crea un laboratorio absurdo, un híbrido entre lo construido y lo demolido, entre la montaña y la ciudad y entre el caos y el orden. Mi intención es que la obra sea al mismo tiempo instalación y acción y que el público entienda el espacio mismo como una materia maleable, que se transforma constantemente y que refleja la dualidad de nuestra relación con el entorno que habitamos. (Texto tomado de la fuente) Este documento recoge las distintas exploraciones, reflexiones y conceptos centrales que me han llevado a esta propuesta.Inspired by the poetry of Jorge Luis Borges, the reflections on the dwelling of Juhani Pallasmaa, the elegance of Peter Zumthor's buildings, the material sensibility of Rogelio Salmona and the philosophical disquisitions of Gaston Bachelard, this research-creation that I have titled "Resanar: The construction of the house as acts of care" focuses on exploring, experimenting, problematizing and creating multiple conceptions of "the house" as a place of affection, refuge and care. As an architect and artist, for me "the house" is the space that the common sensibility recognizes as the most intimate place. That is where the notions of care, protection, and shelter are gestated. In this way, I have carried out different practices, tests, and experiments on the elements that make up the house. From the furniture to the construction materials such as bricks. As a result of these creative processes, an interest has arisen in creating a house in ruins, or a ruin-made house. A place where, through installation exercises, an absurd laboratory is created, a hybrid between the built and the demolished, between the mountain and the city, and between chaos and order. I intend for the work to be both installation and action and for the public to understand space itself as a malleable material, constantly transforming and reflecting the duality of our relationship with our environment.
