Subraya la insistencia en reconocer a las legislaciones de pobres y a las prácticas asistenciales europeas las fuentes fundamentales del Trabajo Social. Resalta la divergencia de la Reconceptualización en América Latina que propone otras miradas. Menciona las nuevas interpretaciones que sugieren retomar las bases científicas como alternativa para profundizar en el tema y en la cuestión de la identidad profesional.Abstract: This article investigates the traditions assumed as historical sources of the profession in different texts onthe past of Social Work. It makes emphasis on the insistence on recognising the poor people legislation and theEuropeans welfare practices as the fundamental sources of Social Work. It highlights the divergence of theRe-conceptualisation in Latin America which proposes other perspectives.
