From his first work, The Birth of Tragedy (BT), Nietzsche offers an interpretation of the world and existence where music occupies a fundamental place. This thesis aims at showing that place, in order to specifically investigate the relationship between music and the Nietzschean thesis of the aesthetic justification of existence. The work hypothetically asks if it is possible, based on the book's insights, to speak of something like a "musical justification of existence." Ultimately, the research seeks, through the thought of the young Nietzsche, to assume the philosophical question of whether music can constitute an answer to the problem of the meaning of life. The text is organized from the general to the particular, in three chapters. The first displays the general features of the conception of the world offered in BT. The second chapter investigates the place that music occupies in this conception of the world. Finally, the third chapter addresses the relationship between music and the problem of the aesthetic justification of existence, in order to ultimately investigate the hypothetical idea of a "musical justification of existence."La música constituye un problema central en la vida y el pensamiento de Nietzsche. Desde su primera obra, El nacimiento de la tragedia (NT), Nietzsche ofrece una interpretación del mundo y la existencia en donde la música ocupa un lugar fundamental. Esta tesis se propone evidenciar dicho lugar, a fin de indagar específicamente la relación entre la música y la tesis Nietzscheana de la justificación estética de la existencia. El trabajo se pregunta hipotéticamente si es posible, a partir de los planteamientos del libro, hablar de algo así como una ‘justificación musical de la existencia’. En el fondo, la investigación busca, por medio del pensamiento del joven Nietzsche, asumir el interrogante filosófico de si la música puede constituir una respuesta frente al problema del sentido de la vida. El texto está organizado de lo general a lo particular, en tres capítulos. El primero expone los rasgos generales de la concepción de mundo ofrecida en NT. El segundo capítulo indaga el lugar que ocupa la música en dicha concepción de mundo.
