Adicionalmente el artículo muestra cómo estas representaciones se transforman, crecen y se relacionan, y las formas y estrategias específicas que adoptan las personas cuando intentan consolidar y describir la manera de asumirse hombre o mujer. Para ello se toma el hombre cazador como figura de análisis y se recogen relatos acerca de situaciones violentas y no violentas concernientes a la relación entre los géneros.Abstract: This study presents an analysis of the different subjective constructions of masculinities and femininities on the part of men and women in the Colombia Pacific regions, especially in some parts of Chocó. It also shows how these representations are transformed and how they inter-relate, and the specific strategies adopted by people who try to consolidate the way in which they become male or female.
