I. B. nacional y agropecuario; a su vez, dentro de la producción pecuaria, la ganadería bovina represento mas del 60%, y para 1987 la producción bovina .(carne y leche) represento el 21 % del P. I. B. agropecuario y el 4.4% del P. I. B. total nacional./ Abstract. It is difficult to show figures that demonstrate the importance of domestic cattle, according to recent report of the Mission of the Agricultural Sector Studies: between 1970 and 1988 the value of livestock production in Colombia (at constant prices of 1975), grew at a average annual rate of 2.8%, significantly lower than that of P.
