Esta desigualdad ha impactado directamente las condiciones laborales, deportivas y el reconocimiento de las futbolistas en Colombia, hecho que se ha visibilizado especialmente desde la creación de la Liga Profesional de Fútbol en 2017. A pesar de la falta de apoyo institucional, las futbolistas han obtenido logros significativos en torneos internacionales como la Copa Libertadores, los Mundiales de Fútbol, la Copa América y los Juegos Olímpicos, evidenciando su capacidad de resistencia dentro y fuera de la cancha. En este contexto, esta tesis analiza las luchas de las futbolistas en la Liga “Profesional”, explorando las desigualdades estructurales, la precarización laboral y la exclusión histórica que han enfrentado. A partir de un enfoque feminista e interseccional, la investigación visibiliza cómo las futbolistas han convertido el fútbol en un espacio de resistencia ante la dirigencia deportiva, que ha tratado de invisibilizarlas y relegarlas a un segundo plano, sin mucho éxito (Texto tomado de la fuente).Gender stereotypes have not only influenced women to pursue certain types of work aligned with their supposed “natural” abilities, but have also imposed barriers on those who have chosen activities that challenge traditional standards, such as playing football. This inequality has directly affected the working conditions, sporting opportunities, and recognition of women football players in Colombia, a reality that has become particularly visible since the creation of the Professional Women’s Football League in 2017. Despite the lack of institutional support, these players have achieved significant accomplishments in international tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores, the FIFA World Cups, the Copa América, and the Olympic Games, demonstrating their capacity for resistance both on and off the field. In this context, this thesis examines the struggles of women football players in the “Professional” League, exploring the structural inequalities, labor precarity, and historical exclusion they have faced.
