Para alcanzar los objetivos planteados en este trabajo, el proyecto se desarrolló en varias fases. En la primera fase se estudiaron y revisaron los referentes conceptuales, teóricas y pedagógicas pertinentes, así como los objetivos que se deseaban lograr con la propuesta. La segunda fase se enfocó en el diseño del instrumento didáctico de trabajo; herramienta que fue implementada en una tercera fase, de la cual se obtuvieron los resultados que fueron evaluados en la última fase del proceso; arrojando que más del 70% de los estudiantes de grado 10 de la I.E.D. El Carmen comprenden los conceptos de clima, tiempo atmosférico, variables meteorológicas, factores del clima entre otros; así como el 60% de ellos fortalecieron sus habilidades científicas e investigativas y la caracterización del clima del municipio de Guasca. Por parte del docente autor de este trabajo fue posible la adquisición de nuevos aprendizajes y conocimientos, en nuevas áreas de las ciencias, como, por ejemplo, las ciencias atmosféricas, así como pedagógicas y didácticas, producto del proceso de elaboración, implementación y evaluación de la unidad, fortaleciendo así su práctica docente.This research work focuses on the development and implementation of a teaching unit for the study of atmospheric variables, as a teaching-learning strategy of the climate concept, from the action-research methodology. To achieve the objectives set out in this research, the project was developed in several phases. In the first phase, the relevant conceptual, theoretical and pedagogical references were studied and reviewed, as well as the objectives to be achieved with the proposal. The second phase focused on the design of the teaching work instrument; tool that was implemented in a third phase, from which the results were obtained and evaluated in the last phase of the process; showing that more than 70% of the students of 10th grade of the I.E.D. El Carmen understand the concepts of climate, weather, meteorological variables, weather climate factors among others; as well as 60% of them strengthened their scientific and investigative skills and the characterization of the climate of the municipality of Guasca. The teacher author of the this work has acquired new knowledge in others areas of science such as atmospheric sciences, and also new learnings in pedagogical and didactic skills.
