Esta tarea se aborda desde la historia cultural de los animales, enfoque que se ocupa de la imagen que el ser humano tiene de estos seres vivos en la sociedad y la cultura. Esta tesis constata que los saberes zoológicos del mundo antiguo sirvieron como punto de apoyo para algunos escritores de la época que se oponían a la singularidad humana a partir de noticias y relatos que tratan sobre la virtud de los animales. (Texto tomado de la fuente)The main objective of this research is to study the zoological representations of the ancient world between between the eighth century B.C. and the third century A.D. This task is approached from the cultural history of animals, an approach that deals with the image that human beings have of these living beings in society and culture.
