Se propone en este trabajo una concepción de una región funcional-estructural. Se aborda el concepto de región desde un ámbito antirregionalista y constructivista, brindando una idea de lo que puede ser una región funcional, entendida desde la Teoría General de Sistemas en un entorno que la influye, pero no la determina (la ficción del Estado-Nación, las lógicas de mercado, entre otros) que a su vez funciona como un sistema social de ficción estructural no funcional. (Texto tomado de la fuente).The traditional definitions of region, space, territory do not respond to the function and social structure of the territory and, on the contrary, generate conflict with the various social actors in the territory who have other meanings or worldviews, ways of understanding the world. A conception of a functional-structural region is proposed in this work.
