En este texto se exponen algunos de los elementos que atraviesan la realidad de los travestis que ejercen la prostitución, a saber: la manera de construir sus identidades de género, sus nociones de la feminidad y la masculinidad, su cuerpo,sus concepciones sobre el amor y los roles que asumen y vivencian en las relaciones erótico-afectivas.Abstract: Starting from stories of transvestites, a thoughtful and critical exposition is woven on how these individualslocate themselves in a heteronormative gender order while, on the other hand, they legitimate andproblematize these norms in their ways of relating with themselves and others.
