De esta manera, se evidencia que actualmente la ruta abreviada, la cual pretende ser el medio de dinamización del mercado sólo ha sido la vía para la aprobación de un medicamento biosimilar. Este es un estudio de caso que, a través del análisis cualitativo de fuentes secundarias y entrevistas, permitió identificar los espacios de conflicto y la actual postergación de la implementación de la ruta abreviada, que refleja la disputa por el objetivo de mercado propuesto por el Ministerio de salud en la regulación de evaluación sanitaria de medicamentos biológicos.
