Cementerio San Esteban: una reflexión e intervención artística y arquitectónica para su reinterpretación como hito urbano

Abstract

Con el siguiente trabajo se pretende realizar una serie de reflexiones que parten de lo teórico y conceptual, enfatizadas desde el arte, la arquitectura, y otras disciplinas afines, animadas en su mayoría por la necesidad de enriquecer la visión de la vida y la muerte en las ciudades, partiendo de un profundo sentido estético y del significado sobre el pensamiento humano para así proveer nuevos alcances y contribuir a su reinterpretación como hito urbano. la articulación de este ejercicio se lleva a cabo por medio de cantos que van mostrando uno a uno, teorías y reflexiones que parten desde lo histórico, social y cultural para poder entender que ha sido y que papel desempeña actualmente el cementerio san esteban de la ciudad de Manizales. a partir de estas reflexiones, las cuales arrojan teorías sobre la importancia de las practicas mágico religiosas que se tejen en la ciudad, se proponen una intervención urbanistica en el espacio publico del cementerio san esteban, el cual intenta volver a recuperar espacialidades perdidas como la avenida de las araucarias y su conexión con la portada del cementerio, la cual ha sufrido transformaciones a través de los años, y que han puesto aquellas practicas en un segundo plano. como complemento se realiza una instalación artística contemporánea (estructuras efímeras) la cual da un nuevo significado a la importancia de la portada del cementerio como principal simbolismo con relación de la ciudad. el espacio publico y la instalación se comprometen entre si, para crear nuevas especialidades que respondan a los mitos y ritos aún presentes y reinsertar el cementerio san esteban al resto de la ciudad. / Abstract: A reflection and artistic and architectonic intervention for its reinterpretación like urban landmark. with the following work it is tried to make a series of reflections that leave from the conceptual theorist and, emphasized from the art, the architecture, and other compatible disciplines, animated in his mayoria by the necessity to enrich the vision of the life and the death in the cities, starting off of a deep aesthetic sense and the meaning on the human thought thus to provide new reaches and to contribute to his new reinterpretation like urban landmark. the joint of this exercise is carried out by means of songs that are showing one by one, social and cultural theory and reflections that start off from the historico, to be able to understand that it has been and that paper carries out the cemetery at the moment san esteban of the city of manizales. from these reflections, which throw teorias on the importance of you practice religious magico that are tiled in the city, set out an intervention in the space i publish of the cemetery san esteban, which tries to return to recover lost space like the avenue of the araucarias and its connection with the cover of the cemetery, which has undergone transformations through the years, and which they have put those you practice in background. as complement is made an installation artistica contemporanea (structure temporality) which gives a new meaning to the importance of the cover of the cemetery like main symbolism with relation of the city. the space i publish and the installation is committed between if, to create new espacialidades that respond to myths and still present rites and reinstate the cemetery san esteban to the rest of the city.
