Summary
The Synaptonemal complex (SC) of rabbit is described as a structure constituted by three elements that present different electron densities at the electron microscope: lateral elements, central region and central elemento The lateral elements are always found associated to the nuclear envelope since the leptotene stage. The SC is seen completely formed at the pachitene stage and it dessapears beetween late pachitene stage and it dissapears between late pachitene and early diplotene.Collections
