Significados de consumo de drogas que construyen los habitantes del barrio Santa Barbará, Sogamoso 2014

Abstract

Objetivo: Describir las significaciones que construyen los Habitantes del barrio Santa Barbará de la cuidad de Sogamoso, acerca del consumo de drogas Diseño metodológico: Estudio cualitativo, etnográfico, con enfoque hermenéutico, realizado mediante la técnica de análisis de contenido a las entrevistas semiestructuradas de 52 habitantes del barrio Santa Bárbara de la cuidad de Sogamoso. Resultados: Del análisis emergieron 2 categorías dentro de las cuales se clasificaron subcategorías de la siguiente manera: Visión del consumo de drogas (frecuencia, horarios y prácticas de consumo, Visión sobre los pares y relación con habitantes de otros barrios, Consecuencias del consumo de drogas) y Visión particular del consumo de drogas (Clasificación de drogas según efecto, relación del consumo de las drogas con Actos delictivos, Droga y relación con actos lesivos. Motivos de inicio de consumo) Conclusiones: existen diferencias entre quienes consumen y quienes no, ya que a los primeros les resulta más difícil plantear una postura unívoca al respecto, mientras quienes no consumen establecen con mayor claridad su posición abstencionista. se puede evidenciar claramente que aunque existen diferentes puntos de vista y diferentes formas de expresar la visión que tiene cada individuo acerca del consumo de sustancia psicoactivas el significado del mismo de fondo es radicalmente el mismo el cual hace parte de una cotidianidad mediática construida por la comunidad misma

Abstract. Objective: to describe the significations that are built by the inhabitants in the Santa Barbara neighborhood in Sogamoso city, about drug abuse. Methodological design: qualitative ethnographic study, with a hermeneutic focus, which was carried out through the content analysis technique to the semi-structured interviews applied to 52 inhabitants of the Santa Barbara neighborhood in Sogamoso city. Results: two categories emerged from the analysis, which were subcathegorized as follows: Drug Abuse Vision (Frequency, schedules and consume practices, Vision about pairs and relationship with inhabitants of other neighborhoods, Consequences of Drug Abuse) and Particular Vision of Drug Abuse (drugs classification according to the effect, relationship between drug abuse and Criminal Acts, Drugs and relation to harmful acts, motivations behind drug abuse beginning). Conclusions: there are differences between the people who consume drugs and those who do not, because for the first ones it is more difficult to pose an univocal position about it, while for those who do not consume it is easier to stand in an abstentionist position. It can be clearly evidenced that, even though there are different points of view and different ways for expressing the vision that each individual being has about psychoactive substance consume, the meaning of it is radically the same which makes part of a media everyday constructed by the community itself.
