//Abstract: The productive process of the banana, one of the principal products of the food basket of the Colombian population, develops under technical conventional processes represented between others, for high loads of agrochemical, external to the productive unit, with negative impacts in multiple dimensions what is translated finally, in the unsustainability of the agroecosistema. The characterization of the system in study, under the multivariate analysis factorial, showed that the application of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, monocultures, plantations ancient and placed in the flat areas tend to be grouped, showing a high correlation between the prevalence of diseases of the plantations and the application of agrochemical for his control. A statistical analysis based on mixed models showed a positive significant correlation between the frequency of appearance of the plagues and the frequency of application of the pesticides. For such a reason, it is urgent to do a technological change across the participative generation of biological alternatives, seeking to make clear how there act the social actors linked with the platanicultura of the department of the Quindío, with regard to the appropriation of the above mentioned offers, for his potential use in the productive processes. The methodology was applied multicriterial social, NAIADE, articulating the sociocultural, economic and environmental dimensions of the agroecosistema, between Contenido XI seven scenes / alternatives, arising as solution commitment the integral system between the agricultural thing, the cattle and / or forest thing and as dominant coalition between the different social actors, the shaped one for the producers and the academy. Additional, it was advanced in considering the attitudes and motivations, giving priority to two attitudes opposite to the biological alternatives, the utilitarian one, where the economic factor is top and a position ambiguous, between to the economic factor and the environmental partner. Motivationally, for the platanicultores, the intrinsic engine is not damage any more to his environment, feelings and conscience are perceived positives in this regard. Extrinsically, the presence of public policies would be the principal engine for the action, represented between others, in the predial tax, subsidies.Palabras clave
