La identidad cultural como elemento generador de Ventaja sostenible en el sector Turísmo: Caso Pueblo Raizal de San Andrés Islas

Abstract

Si bien es cierto que todo trabajo investigativo tiene un objetivo principal, sea éste en un contexto de conocimiento, comprensión, aplicación, análisis, síntesis y/o evaluación, sea cual sea su naturaleza, todos nacen de una inquietud particular del sujeto que investiga; en este caso, la inquietud que inspiró para realizar la siguiente investigación, fue identificar que el turismo de sol y playa debe ser una alternativa y no única opción en la Isla de San Andrés; es preocupante que nuestra ventaja comparativa en este caso, las playas, hoy día sufren de un desgaste, sea por los trastornos naturales y por la depredación humana. Además, éstas están siendo concebidas de forma artificial en diferentes regiones y/o lugares del mundo, entre los vivos ejemplos tenemos, en Colombia las ciudades de Valledupar y Bogotá; en Centro América está República Dominicana con el mayor complejo turístico en Punta Cana Resort, y no menos importante, las reconocidas islas y playas de Dubai. Es por ello que la dinamización del turismo en San Andrés Islas debe ganar mayor relevancia desde la identidad cultural raizal como atractivo turístico diferencial y sostenible.
