Los libros de texto en el preescolar: un estudio de caso en la Institución Educativa Nuevo Kennedy

Abstract

El libro de texto desde su aparición en el contexto escolar es una fuente que permite desarrollar análisis e investigaciones desde variadas perspectivas. Su estructura, los contenidos, las ideas que considera relevantes de dar a conocer, sus omisiones, los valores que transmite, su diseño, el marco legal que lo regula, los criterios utilizados por los maestros para seleccionar unos sobre otros, son algunos de los aspectos que se pueden abordar para generar reflexiones importantes sobre este material pedagógico. Este proyecto pretende analizar algunos libros de texto del grado de preescolar, que circulan en el Colegio Distrital Nuevo Kennedy, con la finalidad de develar su uso, enfoques, estrategias pedagógicas y didácticas, para generar reflexión en la comunidad educativa, acerca de los criterios que se deberían tener en cuenta al seleccionarlos e identificar otras fuentes y materiales que generen aprendizajes, especialmente en la adquisición y aprendizaje de la lectura y escritura. / Abstract. The textbook, since its appearance in scholar context is an element that allows the development of research and analysis from various perspectives. Its structure, content, the ideas that are relevant to disclose, its omissions, the values conveyed through its design, the legal framework governing it, and the criteria used by teachers to choose one over the other, are some of the aspects that can be addressed to generate important reflections on this teaching material. This project's aim is to analyze some books used in Preschool, that are used in Colegio Distrital Nuevo Kennedy, in order to unveil its use, approaches, pedagogical and teaching strategies, to generate debate in the education community about the criteria that should be kept in mind when selecting them, and identifying other sources and to generate learning materials, especially in the acquisition and learning of reading and writing.
