Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative pathology that is characterized by the progressive and irreversible deterioration of the memory and other cognitive functions, affecting mental and social functions of the daily life activities and the quality of life perception of patients and caregivers. The aerobic exercise has demonstrated a positive impact on the management and control of the chronic and no contagious diseases, like Alzheimer’s disease. Objective: Determinate the relation between the aerobic condition, cognitive function and qualitive of life of patients on the first stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Methodology: cross-sectional study, correlated where different variables are analyzed: aerobic capacity ( 6-minute walking test), cognitive function (mini-mental test) and quality of life perception (Quality of life in Alzheimer’s disease Test), in 22 patients with Alzheimer’s disease from both sexes, ages between 55 and 90 years old who live in Bogota. Results and conclusions: a positive relation was seen among the aerobic capacity and the cognitive function. Patients with a better cognitive function referred better score on the quality of life perception. However, these results were not statistically significant.
