dc.description.abstract | The formation of large scale structures in the universe is an area of great scientific interest in cosmology, in whose study various statistical tools help to evaluate the analytical models that describe the origin and evolution of structures. In this direction, the present work estimates the correlation function of two points in the field of matter on the results of the BolshoiP simulation in order to compare such estimates with that predicted by the non-linear theory of perturbations applied to the halo model called formalism perturbation - halo (FPH), implemented by Mead et. al. [14]. The estimates of the two-point correlation function that were obtained are consistent with what is reported in the literature in the four estimators used. In contrast to the results of the FPH model, points are observed where the power spectrum obtained from the correlation function is overestimated, particularly at redshifts greater than 1 and low scales. |
