This book is the result of hard work, which aims to condense, in a practical and orderly way, the human papilloma virus, its biology, and its interference in the development of different premalignant lesions, not only at the level of the cervix, but also, of the vulva, anus, and vagina. The information collected in this writing is based on the best and most recent evidence available. This with the unconditional support of the best teachers, each of them, who collaborated from their experience to the formation of each of these chapters. Each chapter tries to leave some basic learnings, in each one of the developed fields. Each chapter uses dynamic tools such as images, graphs, diagrams that aim to dynamize the knowledge. This book is aimed at the complementary study and teaching of undergraduate medical students, general practitioners, doctors in training in obstetrics and gynecology, specialists in the area of gynecology and obstetrics, and any other member of the health personnel who wishes to delve into this zone.
