dc.description.abstractSe evaluó la distribución de especies y la relación de grupos tróficos de poliquetos, de profundidades entre 80 y 3000 m, usando información de 42 familias de este grupo, característico del ecosistema de fondos blandos marinos en el Caribe colombiano. Las áreas evaluadas comprendieron un sector somero de hasta 112 m de profundidad, y dos sectores profundos de 1750 a 3000 m. Se cuantificaron 2.037 organismos, identificando 151 géneros, y 280 taxones que incluyen 156 especies, 96 morfotipos de género, 6 morfotipos de subfamilia, y 22 morfotipos de familia. Dos familias de poliquetos, Acrocirridae y Apistobranchidae, corresponden a nuevos registros para el Caribe colombiano, así como el 45 % de los géneros y el 87 % de las especies. Se evidenciaron ensablajes de especies diferentes, mediadas por la profundidad, una comunidad con características estructurales particulares en el sector somero, y otra integrada por los dos sectores profundos, con mayor riqueza y abundancia en el primero. Los grupos funcionales de cada sector de profundidad demostraron estabilidad funcional, y aunque se presentaron variaciones importantes en el número de individuos, cada lugar presentó equitatividad alta y dominancia baja. La profundidad y su relación inversa con el tipo de sedimento dominante en cada área, fueron las variables de mayor interacción con las diferencias estructurales halladas entre sectores.
dc.description.abstractThe distribution of species and the relation of trophic groups of polychaetes, of depths between 80 and 3000 m, were evaluated using information from 42 families of this characteristic group of the soft seabed ecosystem in the Colombian Caribbean. The evaluated areas included a shallow sector up to 112 m deep, and two deep sectors from 1750 to 3000m. 2,037 organisms were quantified, identifying 151 genera, and 280 taxa that include 156 species, 96 gender morphotypes, 6 subfamily morphotypes, and 22 family morphotypes. Two families of polychaetes, Acrocirridae and Apistobranchidae, correspond to new records for the Colombian Caribbean, as well as 45 % of the genera and 87 % of the species. There were evidences of different species, mediated by depth, a community with particular structural characteristics in the shallow sector, and another made up of the two deep sectors, with greater wealth and abundance in the first. The functional groups of each sector of depth demonstrated functional stability, and although significant variations were found in the number of individuals, each place presented high equity and low dominance. The depth and its inverse relationship with the dominant sediment type in each area, the variables of greater interaction with the structural differences found between sectors.
