In this thesis it is shown the design of a personalized pair of shoe insoles with localized texture is presented, designed from the normal pressure values and perception thresholds. Showing the used methodology, giving a description of each of the design phases involved. In addition, it is shown the methods used for the validation of the personalized prototype from the case study, as well as the evaluation of it in 10 healthy subjects. Describing the protocol used in the static stabilometries, the variables acquired and the statistical difference tests. The results showed an improvement in the pathological cases during the test with open eyes. Suggesting the need to evaluate this device as treatment, for people with balance control problems. Also, the results in the healthy sample shown no statistical difference with and without the insoles, as in the previous published studies with uniform texture insoles.
