The knowledge of the subsoil is essential in the exploration and development of hydrocarbon deposits, within multiple seismic inversion techniques we have chosen to use for this work the Extended Elastic Impedance (IEE) in order to evaluate rock properties through association to a range of extended angles, which is not physically possible to record, and additionally using three artificial intelligence techniques in order to find non-linear trends that will allow us to compare the results and eventually improve the predictions. We apply the IEE property to model 4 rock properties, gamma ray, porosity, lambda rho and mu rho for the 2nd Wall Creek member of the Frontier Formation (Teapot Dome Field, Wyoming U.S.). In this process, the relationship between the IEE and each of the properties is determined linearly, giving rise to a considerable degree of uncertainty, mainly in the prediction of the gamma ray and porosity, due to the high dispersion of the data. In order to seek a better prediction of the same 4 properties and to be able to compare the results by different methods, we independently incorporate 3 machine and deep learning techniques, Multi Linear Regression (MLR), Probabilistic Neural Network (PNN) and Deep Feed-forward Neural Network (DFNN). As a result, the properties modeled with the MLR and DFNN algorithms were the ones that allowed the greatest definition of the deposit in terms of the correlation coefficient in the validation stage. This work was developed with data from the Teapot Dome field, as a case study, specifically on the Second Wall Creek member of the Upper Cretaceous Frontier Formation, one of the main reservoirs, described as fluvio-deltaic sandstones. The prediction of the reservoir properties allowed us to interpret different bodies as optimal zones, based on the distribution of the most favorable values, such as high porosity, low gamma ray, low lambda rho and high mu rho, these forms are interpreted as complexes of distributary channels and lobes typical of beachfront and deltaic environments, subjected to the action of tides, characteristics that adjust to the geological evolution of the basin in the studied area. The field has around 1,300 wells (of which we preselected 25) and 72 km2 of 3D seismic in pre-stack and post-stack versions of good quality. Among the benefits of the data set is the availability of a good number of wells that allowed us more robust analyzes and an adequate evaluation of results, both for the IEE method and also in the field of machine learning, for this reason it was convenient have information from a production field, such as Teapot Dome, whose data is freely accessible in order to promote scientific research. Its promoters are the Rocky Mountain Oilfield Testing Center RMOTC and the U.S. Department of Energy.Palabras clave
