dc.description.abstract | El déficit de atención con hiperactividad (TDAH) es un trastorno del neurodesarrollo con una prevalencia en niños colombianos de 5.7% (Vélez van Meerbeke Alberto & González Reyes Rodrigo, 2008) Estudios sobre esta condición han mostrado que no siempre se produce un desarrollo cortical que permita la eliminación de los síntomas asociados, por lo cual este trastorno puede persistir a lo largo del ciclo vital y afectar a quienes la tienen en las diferentes esferas de su vida. Hasta el momento no se conoce como TDAH un trastorno del neurodesarrollo al persistir puede manifestarse en el proceso de envejecimiento. Objetivo: Identificar las relaciones entre reportes subjetivos de alteraciones en el neurodesarrollo comportamental en la infancia (atención, hiperactividad e impulsividad), y el desempeño ejecutivo en el adulto mayor. Metodología: Este será un estudio transversal, retrospectivo y descriptivo comparativo sobre el desempeño en las funciones ejecutivas de adultos mayores (60-79años) con y sin historia de manifestaciones de alteraciones atencionales de hiperactividad o impulsividad en la niñez (6-13 años). A partir de un diagnóstico retrospectivo persistente y no persistente de TDAH, así como con pacientes con trastorno neurocognitivo leve (TNL) no amnésico de predominio atencional y población normal. dc.description.abstract | The attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopment disease, that in Colombian children population has a prevalence of 5.7% (Vélez van Meerbeke Alberto & González Reyes Rodrigo, 2008). Research about this disorder has shown that the cortical development expected whit the child development not always occur in a manner that allows the elimination of these alterations; therefore, this disorder can persist through the live time and cause impairment in the different life aspects. Until now is unknow how the ADHD a neurodevelopment disorder when persist can manifest in the aging process. Objective: Identify relations between subjective alterations compartmental neurodevelopment during childhood (Attention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity), and executive performance in the elders. Methodology: This is going to be a transversal, retrospective and descriptive comparative research about the executive performance in elders (60-79 years) with and without history of attentional, hyperactivity or impulsivity alteration during their childhood (6-13 years). Based in a retrospective persistent and not persistent diagnosis of ADHD, also whit patients with mild neurocognitive disorder, no amnesic with attentional predominance and normal population. |
