Collaborative risk management (CRM) is a strategic tool through which companies integrate with third parties to work articulately to reduce the risks to which they are exposed, combining resources, and interacting to achieve common goals. The horizontal collaborative networks (HCN) allow the interaction between actors that develop in the same productive sector, which suggests the need to take advantage of the supply chain dynamic capabilities (SCDC) of each of the actors to potentiate the collaboration and also mitigate risk in a collaborative manner. With a view to contributing to the development of more resilient supply chains and articulated to an associative context, this study aims to develop a model of horizontal collaboration that allows the utilization of the SCDCs of each of the actors involved by facilitating the management of risk in a collaborative way of their production chains. To address the study problem, two associations of Hass avocado producers from the east of Antioquia intervened by conducting a cycle of training, formulating network-generating questions, and conducting semi-structured interviews, which were key inputs for the application of the proposed methodologies of analysis of social networks (SNA) and a theoretical-conceptual tool adapted thanks to a review of strict literature. The relevant results of the study are the construction of a model of horizontal collaboration that allows the exploitation of the SCDCs of the actors immersed in a collaborative network thanks to the construction, development, and strengthening of the SDCs with a view to dynamizing the integration between the participants and being able to manage the risk collaboratively.
