dc.description.abstract | The active regions are areas on the Sun of great interest in modern physics, given the large amount of energy that can be stored and released suddenly, this has motivated us to develop an instrument with which to obtain spectral information from various areas in the solar disk and Corona, trying to cover the largest possible area and obtain information on the evolution of the active regions. For this reason, a multimode fiber optic spectrograph, that we called an IFU, was designed, built and tested for observations between 400 and 650 nm, with a spectral resolution of the order of 0.3 nm, using 12 optical fibers OM4 with a core diameter of 50 um, which can be placed in any arrangement within the focal image of the telescope used. As a goal we set out to create this instrument to obtain scientific information, keeping a low budget and high reliability, so that, in a future, according to the data obtained, we can make the respective improvements to the instrument. We report here the construction and testing. |
