Montaje y mantenimiento de pilotos comunitarios campesinos para la adaptación al cambio climático y al hábitat sostenible en la alta montaña del Valle del Cauca

Con el proyecto actual se buscó dar continuidad a la investigación con la co-construcción de pilotos que movilizaran las teorías hacia acciones concretas que motiven la apropiación de las comunidades y visibilicen sus efectos positivos en comunidades vulnerables. Estas iniciativas aportan a la sostenibilidad ambiental, que ha sido tan teórica (acuerdos internacionales y locales) y tan poco aplicada, y buscan materializarse a través de pilotos familiares en temas fundamentales para la sostenibilidad ambiental. Es así como en el marco de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de la ONU se adelantaron cuatro pilotos relacionados con: La restauración con frailejones y especies nativas. Las certificaciones verdes como oportunidad de mejoramiento de la actividad agropecuaria. El aprovechamiento de agua lluvia y niebla. El aprovechamiento de residuos sólidos. Los beneficios generados por los cuatro pilotos comunitarios y el trabajo concertado con la comunidad, por medio de estrategias educativas prácticas, motivó la participación activa de las familias para la conservación y apropiación de su territorio y para un mayor bienestar en la salud del ecosistema y de las personas. Todo ello estuvo enfocado en adoptar medidas urgentes para combatir el cambio climático y sus efectos, contribuir a un hábitat más sostenible y fortalecer la cultura ambiental. La innovación y transferencia de conocimiento entre academia, comunidades e instituciones permitió avanzar efectivamente hacia el logro de los ODS y con ello mejorar la calidad de vida de la población rural de montaña. La réplica de estos pilotos, por parte de los líderes y lideresas comunales, solo será posible fortaleciendo y acompañando a las comunidades y brindándoles la oportunidad de empoderarse como gestores de su propio desarrollo. Finalmente, este manual presenta el procedimiento realizado durante el desarrollo de los montajes de los proyectos piloto, con la colaboración de las familias y algunos miembros de la comunidad, quienes con su participación lograron el éxito del proceso y la consecución de algunos de los resultados del proyecto.
