The investigation began by identifying and characterizing which manufacturing productive units of the Aburrá Valley were relocated and remained in the road corridor of the Medellín-Bogotá highway at the level of the municipalities of Guarne, Rionegro and Marinilla in the period 2005-2018, as we advance investigation, it was possible to extend the period until 2022. Six companies agreed to respond to semi-structured interviews where the process of relocation of their productive activity was investigated, finding that this is on the rise and forms spatial regularities in traditional industrial sectors such as textiles and rubber-plastic. The companies provided eighteen of their employees to be interviewed and in this way, it was known how their daily life has changed after the relocation of the company, an exercise of rhythmanalysis and dioramas was built to see in detail the changes in the daily dimensions of leisure, family life, work life and personal life of the worker. It was found that workers who live south of the Aburrá Valley are harmed by pendulum mobility between the valleys, while workers who live north of the metropolitan area of Medellín have benefited, however, the trip between valleys is an exhausting process that has caused the majority of workers who did this pendulum mobility in the medium term to resign, which is why a reconversion of company personnel by workers from the near east of Antioquia has been evident.Palabras clave
