Abstract. The Soybean crop is one of the most important in the world. The productivity of this crop has increased substantially since the adoption of tolerant herbicide transgenic lines. However these lines were developed for temperate regions, for this reason, the successful introduction of herbicide tolerance soybean in Colombia could require genetic transformation of the national varieties. One of the most important issues about this process is the development of genetic constructs that express the characteristic of interest, which have been developed by techniques of conventional molecular biology. However thanks to bioinformatic and synthetic biology tools, it is possible to make the in silico design of the construct and hiring its synthesis, allowing to perform sequence modifications like codon usage, which significatively improve the protein expression. In this work, there were designed and assessed semi-synthetic gene versions that confer glyphosate and glufosinate tolerance, as an initial phase for the obtention of national soybean varieties with herbicide tolerance.Palabras clave
