dc.description.abstract | Abstract: Embryology is the study of the development of an organism that occurs from fertilization to organogenesis. The first to speak about this were Aristotle (384-322 BC) and Hippocrates (460-377 BC), where they described embryology by an observational method in which they described chickens in their different stages. In the present work we sought to develop teaching tools for the teaching of embryogenesis of the human body, for which chicken embryos were taken in different stages, obtained from an incubation and preservation process, with which paraffin blocks were subsequently made and slides with hematoxylin eosin stain. Subsequently, the Hamburger scale was taken for the embryo staging and thus to make the comparison with the embryogenesis of the human being found in the databases. Based on the above, it was possible to describe the organogenesis of the central nervous system, the ocular system, the primitive intestine, and the respiratory system. Likewise, a documentary search was carried out to complement from the theoretical the findings of each week and make the description of the fertilization and gastrulation processes. Finally, the different structures found both in the macroscopic part and in the histology of the chicken embryos were documented and analyzed, after which it was concluded that human embryogenesis and that of Gallus gallus are similar from fertilization processes to of organogenesis of the genitourinary system and of epithelial differentiation of the respiratory system, with the exception of the time of development, among other differences that were found. |
