Within the emotional and bodily traces that remain after having acquired a physical disability, we find that the concept of the body undergoes a modification, since the subject finds himself inhabiting a body that has transmuted and must begin an atypical path to continue inhabiting it, which gives rise to redefining the perception of their body image, since this aspect is strongly impacted in this unexpected event called: Acquired Disability. The process of reconstructing the concept of body image is accompanied by new ways of feeling and experiencing the body and by different ways of weaving affective and social relationships that continue to contribute to personal construction and enable a base for people who come and will come to this same path. The tour that will be carried out places the ludic dimension and its strengthening as a route to explore to accompany the encounter with the new perception of the present and acquired body image. There is a strong interest in strengthening this human dimension to identify the important aspects that have a positive impact on body recognition, this work will be presented during the investigation. This research seeks to find possibilities that bring us closer to the options that exist from movement and ludic to understand what happens to the concept of the body when experiencing a disability that was not contemplated and how that meaning is transformed by focusing the work. practical in the reunion with physical strengths through liberation, enjoyment, spontaneity, creativity and communication that ludic brings with it. As a physical educator I wanted to ask myself about the meaning of body image in subjects who, due to factors such as illness or accident, were now experiencing a disability. These questions led me to the very source of the answers, those people who once had a body with four limbs, but today, in the absence of any of them, decide to share what they feel, believe and think about their body, with the only ambition to show and embrace their individuality to understand what they want to live today. The actors proposed for this research are some people with Acquired Disability who are here as co-investigators, which turned out to string together in a pertinent and punctual way the activities that gave rise to knowing their experiences, desires and sensations. This allowed converging and learning with precision, dialogue, letting go, gathering and building together, ways to continue knowing the infinity of the body and all the places that we can inhabit with it when life decides to transform us. The relationship that could be built between the concepts: Acquired disability, ludic dimension, bodily experiences and body image is close and interdisciplinary, it allowed us to cultivate seeds of concerns that led us to explore body corners that had not been revisited, it reminded us of the scope of the transformations, the characteristics of fragility and connected us with moments of personal and collective recognition.
