These activities are of utmost importance because they pursue innovation, which makes it easier for organizations to be more competitive in today's market. These barriers could be overcome thanks to the use of effectuation theory, a theory that starts from the understanding of the characteristics of entrepreneurs and the dynamics of entrepreneurship to explain the decision-making process of successful entrepreneurs. However, it does not consider intra-entrepreneurship scenarios and it is necessary to make adjustments or complements from this theoretical basis to make it more usable in entrepreneurship scenarios within companies. The objective of this thesis is to propose a methodological tool that complements the theory of effectuation to guide it to facilitate the overcoming of barriers faced by MSMEs in processes of implementation of intra-entrepreneurship activities. For this purpose, a Heuristic Strategy is proposed that is composed of three phases: Inquiry, Ideation and Implementation. Each phase contemplates a set of instruments that were used in the company selected as a case study in order to determine what results would be obtained by using the proposal. The heuristic strategy showed positive results in the identification of barriers and in the construction of solutions that facilitate their overcoming thanks to the use of the principles of effectuation during the generation of ideas.
