This paper is a geometric approach to statistical models and their structure, defined on differentiable manifolds whose points are probability distributions together with a Riemannian metric (M, g) and in particular for the manifold formed by the set of positive signed measures on I={1,2,..., n} and the Fisher metric. We highlight the Fisher metric as a central object of study in information geometry as in [1, Amari] y [2, Jost]. The classification of the statistical models will be associated with the grouping of the probability distributions in the exponential family and the mixture family, giving rise to dual connections and mutually torsion-free as a dual structure, which in turn determines the Amari-Chentsov tensor which defines statistical manifold as a structure (M, g, T). One way to accumulate geometric information of two different variables is to use the warped product, resorting to a generalization of the cartesian product introduced in [3, O'Neill], where it gives a different weight to one of the factors such as dual structure and statistical structure [9, Leonard], which we extend, showing that the statistical manifold behaves well, but not when considering a statistical model.Palabras clave
